Enemy Behaviour on 24 December 1941:
Opponent could not disturb the pulling back of the Italian divisions, which was protected by the D.A.K., from the area Benghazi into the Agedabia position. Westward advances by 7th Armoured Division via Solluch and Beda Fomm were parried. Benghazi was occupied without a fight around 13.00 hours by a reconnaissance battalion of 4th Indian Division. Aerial reconnaissance could not ascertain enemy movement on the tracks leading from Gialo to Agedabia and Marada.
