Arrival and Departure of Subordinated Troops

The Commander inspects the forward lines and the blocking work at the narrows 29km west of el Agheila, as well as the harbour installation at Casa Ristoro. After a conference with the commander of 5.lei.Div. General Rommel flies over the terrain between the sea and Marada and then moves back to Tripoli via el Machina (see activity report).

The Chief of Staff, Lt.Col. von dem Borne, welcomes the officers, non-commissioned officers, and other ranks who arrived with the 6th naval transport in the ‘km 5’ barracks in the evening.
