New article – War for the Well

I was very pleased to be able to support Stephen Keoghane in delivering this feature article for the April 23 issue of Britain at War. It’s my first foray into the world of magazine publishing, and I clearly have a lot to learn in terms of style. But a nice summary, and editors who really engaged with the text helped a lot.

Hope that those of you who manage to pick up a copy enjoy the read.

As Stephen Keoghane and Andreas Biermann reveal, the 2nd Royal Gloucestershire Hussars – a yeomanry regiment new to armoured warfare – had the misfortune to take Britain’s newest tanks into battle against what was perhaps Italy’s best division.
