Conference Major-General Rommel, Lt.Col. v.d.Borne with Colonel Schmundt. Leave taken from Commander in Chief Army by phone. Promotion of Major-General Rommel to Lieutenant General. Lieutenant General Rommel flies to Wiener Neustadt.
